that's me

I work at the intersection of street art and comic, a visual language built around a recurring cast of characters I think of as my own universe. The Bunny, shifting between fluffy, armored and dreamlike. The Bear, a subverted care-bear with X-eyes and quietly defiant words. The Astronaut, a robotic wanderer with oversized hands and a head full of gadgets. They all share the same DNA - wide empty eyes, a soft toy-like body and an emotional honesty that never asks to be liked.

I build my paintings in layers: a saturated background in lighning colors, a bold black outline on top, then a haze of graffiti tags, scribbles, and splatter that turns the canvas into something closer to a wall than a picture. Acrylic, spray paint, marker and oil chalk sit side by side - the same piece can hold a perfectly clean line and a deliberately messy one.

Underneath the color and the noise, my work is about the feelings that are hard to name out loud. I paint my own emotional state and let the characters carry it, so that anyone looking at the canvas can find a piece of themselves in it. The volume is high, but what's underneath is quiet. Fear, fragility, tension and the small moments of strength that come right after.

I work out of my own studio and work across large-format statement pieces, small edition series and sketchbook studies where the characters first take shape.
